Mechanical Engineer

Details of the offer

1. Ensures that field installation of improvement projects conforms to engineering practice and standards.
2. Provide accurate specifications of equipment and machinery or its parts and other materials.
3. Evaluate quotations of supplied equipment or fabricated items.
4. Provide technical assistance to local and foreign consultants, suppliers, customers, and technicians.
5. Develop and maintain safe and good housekeeping habits within the area of assignment.
6. Effective control and monitoring of KY implementation.
7. Responsible for the safety of oneself and tall personnel under his section and other personnel during interfacing.
8. Oversees the implementation of engineering tasks and activities.
9. Performs planning and scheduling of works or projects assigned.
10. Conducts on-site inspection to validate various designs and drawing dimensions, specifications, and applicability.
11. Prepares purchase requisitions and bill of materials for assigned work and projects.
12. Submit accomplishment reports to superiors of assigned works/projects.
13. After the terminal is in commercial operation, patrol the equipment, inspect it in case of abnormalities, perform repairs (give work instructions to the machinery contractor and inspect it), manage maintenance records, develop an annual maintenance plan, and procure and manage spare parts.

·They are expanding their business and constructing a cement plant in Batangas
·It is not project-based employment, but permanent employment
·Since there are many construction and building projects ongoing in the Philippines, there is a high demand for cement, so this is a good industry to work in the Philippines.

Note: The new member will be assigned to work in Makati or Calaca, Batangas (to be finalized later)

Licensed Mechanical Engineer (Registered Mechanical Engineer or Professional Mechanical Engineer)
Proficient in drawing and design skills using AUTOCAD.
Good oral and written communication technical skills.
Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
The same industry (cement) would be a big advantage.
*Less than 5 years is acceptable. The planned construction would be in April 2026, so they have one year to educate.

Salary budget:
P18,000-P23,000(for a member class)
P25,000-P30,000(Foreman)

SL and VL:
1st year; 10 days each
2nd year: 12 days each
3rd year: 14 days each
4th year after: 15 days each

Working days: Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm

¦House allowance; negotiable (accommodation will not be provided, so the person who can commute to Calaca is preferable.)

·The project is in Calaca city, so a candidate from Calaca city or close to the area is preferable, There is no accommodation from the company (but house allowance is negotiable).
·Though the project starts in 2025 in Calaca, the person can join earlier as there are other ongoing projects as well, so that they can catch up and know more about its industry and company more
