PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for crafting and executing marketing strategies to enhance the company's brand presence and drive customer acquisition. This role involves leading internal and external marketing initiatives, managing campaigns, and analyzing market trends to identify opportunities for growth. The Marketing Officer will collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts while building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns that align with the company's objectives, ensuring a strong brand presence and engagement.
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, providing actionable insights to inform marketing strategies.
Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, and presentations, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
Manage digital marketing efforts, including search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing, and social media campaigns, to drive online traffic and customer engagement.
Organize and execute promotional events, trade shows, and other marketing activities to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure marketing efforts are integrated and aligned with business goals.
Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and optimize strategies.
Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficiency and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
Cultivate and maintain relationships with media, partners, and other external stakeholders to enhance brand awareness and opportunities for collaboration.
Prepare and present regular reports on marketing activities, performance, and insights to senior management, providing recommendations for improvement.
Submit a comprehensive Weekly Activity Report to COO and CSD Head/ Manager, providing insights into accomplishments, challenges, and objectives.
Participate in weekly and monthly face-to-face alignment meetings on performance, contributing insights and updates to foster synergy and strategic alignment.
Schedule at least one potential new client meeting each week, actively expanding the company's client base and fostering growth opportunities.
Flexibly undertake additional responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to organizational success.
EDUCATION, TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND CAREER:
Bachelors/College Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field from a reputable institution.
Demonstrable experience in marketing roles, preferably within the Engineering, Construction, or related industries.
Proven track record of engaging with both local and international clients, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and effective communication.
A minimum of 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in marketing, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics and best practices.
Proficiency in utilizing MS Office applications and marketing tools to streamline processes, analyze data, and create compelling reports.
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
Familiarity with graphic design software and basic design principles is a plus.
Exemplary oral and written communication skills, characterized by clarity, precision, and persuasiveness, enabling seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and develop data-driven strategies.
