Who are we looking for: As a Tax Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's tax compliance and financial reporting activities. Your responsibility includes ensuring that all financial and tax-related processes adhere to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will manage tax returns, assist in audits, and support financial analysis to optimize the company's tax strategy and financial performance.
Oversee the preparation and filing of various tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and property tax. Ensure all tax filings comply with current tax laws and regulations. Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. Identify areas for cost savings and opportunities for improving financial performance. Assist in managing tax audits and handle inquiries from tax authorities or external auditors. Ensure accurate and timely responses, and maintain up-to-date documentation for audits. Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and conduct variance analyses to support the organization's financial planning process. Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Ensure that the company's financial practices are aligned with all relevant laws and regulations, adapting to changes in financial regulations and tax policies. What does it take to be part of the team? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). 3-5 years of experience in accounting, including experience in leading teams and managing people. Strong understanding of tax regulations and accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems. Excellent analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and identifying areas for financial improvement. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments. Detail-oriented and highly accurate in all financial activities. Ability to stay updated with changing financial regulations and adapt to new financial technologies. CPA license is preferred but not required.
