About the role
RVS CARGO SERVICES INC.' is seeking a licensed customs broker to join our dynamic team. As a licensed customs broker, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient importation and exportation of goods through our operations in Manila City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work for a leading player in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and filing all necessary documentation for the clearance of goods through customs
Liaising with customs authorities and other relevant parties to resolve any issues or discrepancies
Providing expert guidance and advice to clients on customs regulations and procedures
Maintaining detailed records and reports on all customs-related activities
Staying up to date with changes in customs laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Collaborating with the wider logistics team to optimise import and export processes
What we're looking for
A valid licence as a customs broker in the Philippines
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar customs brokerage role
Strong knowledge of customs laws, regulations, and procedures
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with authorities and clients
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Proficient in using relevant software and technology
