The core business processes in APAC are Order-to-Cash and Plan-to-Produce. Our primary customers are Sales, Customer Services, Supply Chain, and Finance. We have development teams based in Europe, US, and India.This senior role will own the end-to-end design process for new and existing Enterprise Applications solutions in APAC and represent APAC in global architectural forums. It will also be responsible for contributing to the definition of the global architecture practice along with all its frameworks, and enforcing this for APAC IT. We are not looking for someone vested in one particular product; moreover, someone who will take a fully objective, platform agnostic view of solutions and can work with application specific architects / dev leads on lower-level designs. Candidates will need a strategic and outside-the-box mindset. This position will work closely with the business and technology leads to co-ordinate Discovery and High-Level Design phases of major projects. Candidates MUST have full development lifecycle experience gained by working closely with multiple technical disciplines in a global enterprise application setting. This is a highly collaborative role suited to strong team players.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work closely with senior stakeholders and lead project Discovery and conceptual design phases, selecting optimal solutions to support the APAC business whilst aligning with Global Architectural framework.Collaborate across disciplines to ensure designs are feasible, resilient, performant, and well communicated.Formalize conceptual design and support technical and business stakeholders through the approval process.Support domain specific architects and Subject Matter Experts in the creation of High and Low-Level designs.In close partnership with Project Managers, manage technical risks, stakeholders and architectural / technical milestones.Help establish principles, patterns, and templates as part of our Enterprise Architecture.Collaborate with other Enterprise Architects in other Dexcom regions to ensure global alignment of solutions and technologies within the enterpriseRepresent APAC as part of the Global Design Authority working in a matrixed org environment with a dotted line to Global Enterprise Architecture.Champion new technologies and partners where they can differentiate and add value to the organization.Research new innovations in the market to improve Dexcom solutions. Perform technology and product assessments to recommend changes to our target architecture and roadmap.Ensure compliance with global IT policies, standards, and processes.Required Qualifications/Experience:5 years of Solution Architecture experience and prior to this practical experience of enterprise application development and/or third-line operational support.Experience in creating designs at all levels of abstraction and working with teams to implement.Experience of working as an Enterprise Architect, ideally in a global organization, is highly preferred.Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of various Waterfall / Agile / Hybrid SDLC processes.Must have experience of ERP and/or CRM applications, ideally both.
