INVENTORY SUPERVISOR - CONSORTIUM
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the daily activities of the inventory analyst & document controller with responsibility on quality, delivery and efficiency
- Ensures adequate levels of material and/or product inventories are maintained and monitor all stocks transfer from one warehouse to another respective locator to ensure highest inventory accuracy
- Generate the final outturns after completion of Foreign Vessel (FV) operation; Reconciled documents & transactions
- Generate the 90% billing prior to FV arrival & generate the 10% billing after completion of the FV operation
- Generate billing charges for storage, handling, loading & unloading, local arrastre & stevedoring, sieving & rebagging, stripping, and dispatching.
- Communicate to all consignees with the mode of withdrawal for the stocks whether in bulk, in bags, shipside/outport, and other related information to delivery and shipment
- Responsible for evaluating inventory needs and implementing strategies to meet those needs
- Prepare and update reports for interdepartmental & management perusal
- Conduct cycle & monthly physical inventory
- Monitor foreign vessels arrival and departure
- Generate a prorate billing to accounting (sharing percentage of allocation based on Bill of Lading)
- Facilitate and accommodate BIR examiner and customer brokerage for foreign vessel inspection
- Develop and implement programs to provide high quality service and establish customer focus relationship
- Collaborate with other departments in solving operational & delivery problems & ensure the smooth and timely supportOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate and update consignees on their stocks level
- Enhance work morale and stimulate efficiency and productivity
- Review and check subordinate reports to ensure correctness
- Keep records detailing the various elements and aspects of inventory
- Review the charging cost for fumigation & other charging related activities to consignee
- Review the billings from related third parties
- Attend schedule meeting as needed and represent the department
- Review, check and reconcile documents and transactions with other parties and consignees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any Business-related course
- Have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in the same field
- Have adequate skills in communications
- Have skills and ability to plan, control, organize, supervise, lead, solve problems & coordinate
- Should have the ability to lead the department towards continuous improvement
