FUNCTION OF THE DEPARTMENT & MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Human Capital Officer administers and coordinates human resources programs such as compensation and
benefits, with a primary emphasis on employment and employee relations matters involving employees up
through the middle management level; communicates and interprets company human resources policies and
procedures for managers and employees.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Assists in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with restaurant goals and
objectives, including recruitment and onboarding, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and
performance management and other HR related matters
Assists in developing and implementing employee retention and engagement programs.Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations matters and ensure legal compliance.Supervises employee benefits programs and ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory
requirements.
? Ensures adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertakes disciplinary actions if
the need arises
? Supervises the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, resume screening, interviewing,
background checks, and hiring.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's training programs and recommend areas of improvement.Maintain and provide accurate and timely HR management information and manage information in line
with data protection policies and procedures.
? Assist the line managers in the performance appraisal process, such as scheduling meetings and filling
the performance appraisal forms
? Coordinate learning and development (L&D) activities including planning the arrangements for L&D
events; responding to L&D queries; processing invoices related to L&D; taking forward actions following
training e.g. evaluation/feedback etc
Ensure compliance of department to QMS procedure and ISO standard requirements.Assist in planning and managing the budget preparation and implementation for both departments.Updates Job Description of employees annually or as necessary thru coordination with different
department heads.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or any related field.With experience as Human Resources Supervisor for at least 5 yearsIn-depth knowledge of safety regulations and complianceStrong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws and regulationsOutstanding administrative and communication skillsStrong analytical and planning skills;Good communication and presentation skills;Excellent problem solving skills and keen to details
