Overview: We are looking for an HR Coordinator, based in Manilla to support mainly our Germany and Switzerland employee population, and provide additional support and back up to others in the EMEA HR team during busy periods. You will report to a Senior HR Generalist based in Germany and will be part of a new HR Operations team which is being established. In this role you will develop a broad range of HR expertise, gaining experience across different disciplines. This role would suit a motivated junior HR professional, looking to further develop their HR career.
Responsibilities: Onboarding and offboarding administration which includes partnering with recruitment, being the main point of contact and ensuring candidates provide all necessary paperwork, updating Workday (HRIS) and SuccessFactors, undertaking HR onboarding sessions and managing probation periods. Ensure leaver administration is actioned in accordance with required processes, including preparing leaver letters.
Assist with monthly payroll, ensuring required data is accurate and timely and partnering effectively with the internal payroll team.
Be the first point of contact for employee queries which will entail communicating HR policies and processes.
Tasks relating to administration such as immigration administration, providing visa support letters, preparing employment certificates, parental leave confirmation letters etc.
Assisting employees with benefit related inquiries
Managing employee updates in various systems, including Workday, ServiceNow and SuccessFactors
Build and maintain strong partnerships with other groups such as Finance, Corporate Services, and IT and foster positive and respectful working relationships.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions to address the needs of a growing organisation.
Help generate standard HR reports from workday (e.g., employee turnover, absence rates, number of employees, fluctuation, sick leave, vacation status etc).
You will potentially receive additional responsibilities and be involved in ad hoc projects.
Provide support to our Czech Republic HR team regarding the above tasks as required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree graduate in Psychology, Human Resources, or any Business-related discipline.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a HR similar role, ideally gained at a company that has seen rapid growth and continues to evolve.
Highly organised and ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
An interest and understanding of employment law (with a German focus) and willingness to continually expand and develop knowledge and skillset.
Demonstrate good judgement, act with integrity, credibility and professionalism.
Strong communication and collaboration skills and able to build relationships across all levels of the business in a global operating environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using Workday would be beneficial.
German language knowledge would be advantageous
This role will be assigned on non-traditional shift or mid/night shift schedule and hybrid work setting.
