JOB PURPOSE Primarily responsible for the daily operations and delivery of employee services in the areas of Compensation, Salary Planning and Structure Reviews, Benefits Administration and HR Administration. This includes leading and coordinating the delivery and implementation of HR salary and benefits programs and practices, as well as implementing changes to HR processes to ensure compatibility with the Companys procedures and controls. As a Manager, leads a team of HR Specialists in the C&B and HR Administration functions. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures timely and accurate processing and disbursements of payroll and all other remuneration for all staff and managers on agreed schedulesHandles complex HR queries and transactions in Benefits administration (government-mandated and corporate-initiated)Reviews and documents key policies affecting the C&B and HR Administration function and recommends management plans to support operational needsConducts analyses of jobs (job classification and evaluation), salaries, awards recognition, and incentives to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance with the company's pay practices.Manages highly confidential employee data which may not be limited to payroll informationPrepares management reports related to the performance of the C&B and HR Administration functionResponsible for leading, motivating, and managing his/her team and ensuring that the team is cross-trained/multi-skilled and proactive customer-focused.Works with External Service Providers (ESP) for payroll and company-initiated benefits and acts as liaison between employees and ESPs for issues or concernsAssists Department Heads/Managers in key benefit and compensation program rollouts through training and education Acts as subject matter expert (SME) or go-to person for any HR issues or concerns of the management teamPerforms other job-related projects and tasks as may be assigned from time to time TASKS Prepares payroll instructions for Managers and verifies payroll instructions for Staff Employees on a bi-monthly basis and/or during special pay runEnsures quality of all items included for payroll disbursement, including all payroll-related reports, and validates PayrollRegister submitted by ESP for Payroll on a bi-monthly basis and/or during special pay runProcesses last pay of all Managers and ensures its timely release to separated employees based on the agreed Turn Around Time (TAT)Prepares employee certifications (i.e. COE, government contribution or loan payment certifications) for all Managers and/or Staff employees as the need arisesOversees administration of all company-initiated and government-mandated benefits and ensures that they are delivered to employees or government institutions within TATAttends to queries related to benefits and ensures that they are resolved within TATEnsures timely completion and submission of mandatory reportorial requirements for submission to government agencies (i.e. BIR, SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-Ibig)Collaborates with ESP or external compensation and benefits research vendors on market studies and practices for recommendation of any C&B restructuring to ManagementAssists the ESP in the conduct of the Job Evaluation process for all positions in the organization including but not limited to review of position titles, documentation, and review of Job Descriptions/Job Analysis Questionnaires and conduct of job validation interviews with the Companys Subject Matter Experts (Dept Heads)Oversees 201 File Management and ensures its timely update both for softcopy and hardcopyManages the HR Database Control File and Compensation Databases for Staff and ManagersPrepares individual Daily Service Record (DSR) and monthly individual KRA Report. Consolidates the C&B/HR Administration Teams KRA and ensures that all Monthly Targets (i.e. volume, time, and quality) are achieved by the TeamManages a team of HR Specialists, including but not limited to target-setting, adherence to company policies and procedures, and other HR-related matters. Mentors the team and motivates them to achieve if not exceed the set targets, become multi-skilled and proactive customer-focused.Completes all necessary Management Reports as required, for monthly reporting to MANCOMHandles special projects and prepares reports as needed Minimum Required Education/Professional Licensure/Certifications Graduate of any 4-year course preferably in Behavioral Science Minimum Required Experience Strong C&B experience, minimum of ten (10) years of experience in managing C&B programs in the PhilippinesHeld a similar position in a managerial capacity for at least a yearPreferably with previous experience in banking/real estate/mortgage business in a set-up or pioneering stageExperienced with industry/job benchmarking with Towers Watson or another equivalent firmExperienced in formulating policies related to the C&B function Skills / Attributes Required Must be able to bring best practices and experience to the positionBusiness acumen Planning, problem-solving, analyticalCommunication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt easily to changes in work assignmentHard-working, results orientedCustomer-orientedVery keen on detailsFlexible and can cope up with changeTrustworthy and dependableCommitted Special / Technical Skills RequiredProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially ExcelSkilled in Job Evaluation from job analysis, and job rating to job pricingKnowledgeable in Labor Laws related to compensation & benefits administrationKnowledgeable in database management
