GROUP HEAD (CIVIL ENGINEER)

 

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for leading the company's Civil Works, property maintenance and projects as implemented.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures that all Job Orders generated by the other department are attended and well communicated by the Service Engineer(s) before, during and after the activity.

Prepares cost estimates on the Job Orders received to be presented to the CED Manager for discussion and approval.

Ensures that the Maintenance Supervisor(s) and/or Engineer(s) does routine checks, establishes checklists and does restoration to ensure prevention or damages.

Attends discussion with purchasing team and contractors for pre-bid

meeting, bidding, kickoff meeting until project turnover for project management.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
 

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

A graduate of Bachelor of Science of Civil Engineering

Must be a licensed Civil Engineer

EXPERIENCE

Must have at least 5 years' experience in Civil Engineering works and Facilities Maintenance

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Knowledgeable in Civil and Maintenance Works

Knows how to interpret a plan and prepare cost estimates

Knowledgeable and knows to Plan, Lead, Organize and control personnel under his organization

Computer Literate, CAD and other software applicable

Knows basic construction standards
