JOB SUMMARYEnsures that the various Operations Department operate successfully and are individually profitable in accordance with TAG standards.2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES2.1. OPERATIONAL2.1.1. Ensures that the various Food and Beverage adhere to TAG policies and procedures and quality standards. 2.1.2. Shall represents the Operations Department in the Company Executive Committee Meetings 2.1.3. Ensures that all-departmental Operation Manuals are prepared and updated. 2.1.4. Monitors service and F&B standards in all outlets(Restaurant or Hotel). Works with the Brand Manager, Assistant Brand Manager for service, Restaurant Managers, and the Chef to take corrective action where necessary.2.2. FINANCIAL2.2.1. Ensures that each outlet is accounted for separately as an individual profit center. 2.2.2. Ensures that a Manager/Management Team manages each outlet totally accountable for their profitability. 2.2.3. Sets, in close conjunction with each Managers, annual operating budgets which will form part of the Business Plan. 2.2.4. Monitors all costs and recommends/institutes measures to control them. 2.2.5. Sets and controls with the EXECOM and Comptroller any incentive scheme for the Managers or other Food & Beverage Heads 2.2.6. Ensures that the Department's Operational Budget is strictly adhered to.2.3. MARKETING 2.3.1. Identifies market behavior/strategy 2.3.2. Monitors and analyzes the activities and trends of competitive restaurants. 2.3.3. Ensures that all Managers are fully aware of market needs and trends and that their product meets these requirements. 2.3.4. Plans and implements with each Manager effective sales and promotional activities to ensure maximum revenues.2.4. EMPLOYEE HANDLING 2.4.1. Recruits and selects Food and Beverage Heads of the Department 2.4.2. Trains and develops Heads of Department so that they are able to operate independently within their own profit centers. 2.4.3. Ensures that each Head of the Department plans and implements effective training programs for their respective employees with the Training Manager and Department Trainers. 2.4.4. Ensures that each Head of the Department maximizes productivity and morale within their respective Departments and they consistently maintain discipline following TAG guidelines and local legislation.2.5. ADMINISTRATION 2.5.1. Perform the Profit and Lose 2.5.2. Ensures that all Food and Beverage forms and reports are submitted properly 2.5.3. Maintains all TAG records and forms 2.5.4. Gives or recommends disciplinary actions to an earring employee if necessary.2.6. GENERAL2.6.1. Responds to changes in the Operations Department as dictated by the industry3. JOB SPECIFICATION3.1. Educational Qualifications-College Graduate, BSHRM3.2. Work Experience-3 to 5 years working experience with preferable in same industry3.3 Technical skills - POS Ordering, POS Cashiering, Microsoft Proficient4. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPReports to the Director for OperationsAUDIT RESPONSIBILITIES1. Ensures that all changes in the existing processes are fully understood and implemented.2. Public Relation 2.1. Achieve the highest standard through strict adherence to the hygiene and sanitation rules 2.2. Fully understand TAG hygiene guidelines and standards 2.3. Actively support and enforce the implementation of policies related to TAG FSMS 3. Housekeeping3.1. Checks and maintains high standard on cleanliness in the restaurant outlet. 3.2. Signs job requisition/repairs orders to maintenance. 3.3. Checks and follows up repairs and maintenance of the restaurant.
