Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for a Finance Controller who can work with us full-time and on-site!Where??? Crown 7 Business Centre, Pope John Paul II Ave, Cebu City, Cebu As a Finance Controller, your role is to support the Finance Director in all financial reporting and finance operations activities.
Some of the things we expect you to do are to: Completion of the month-end financial reporting process, including the review and posting of month-end journals. Preparation of the month-end balance sheet reconciliations, to be reviewed by the Finance Director. Review of all monthly management reporting Assisting in the review and preparation of the monthly and fortnightly payroll Completion of monthly and quarterly BAS returns (VAT/GST & PAYG) Managing the year-end audit process Completion of the year-end financial statements Completion of weekly cash flow reporting (including cash flow forecasting) Supporting secretarial staff and fee earners by processing change in 3E (Client's legal and finance system) Assisting the Finance Director in ad-hoc finance projects Assisting and supporting in the supervision of the Finance Officer and Management Accountant (based in Cebu) We would need you to be or have the following: Proven experience as a Finance Controller or similar role, with a strong background in financial management, accounting, and reporting. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP and Excel. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Ability to motivate and guide a finance team to achieve goals. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
