We are looking for an Equipment Reliability and Engineering (ERE) Section Head who will:
Lead the Sustaining Team, Controls Team, Projects Team, and Preventive Maintenance Team, providing engineering services to support manufacturing operations. Responsible for technical oversight, guidance, and leadership to the 3 Equipment Reliability Engineering subgroups.Promote quality standards and procedures and create a work environment of continuous improvements. Check and approve new design content and documentation, including design changes, and administer budgets while controlling costs/expenses within the area of responsibility.Support planning, design, and execution of capital projects for the facility, covering all phases of the project lifecycle related to the installation of new or modification of existing equipment. Responsibilities include conceptual and schematic design, cost estimating, scope development, construction supervision, cost and schedule control, qualification, startup, and operator training.Manage design, conceptualization, installation, commissioning, and testing of continuous improvement projects targeting capacity improvements, yield improvements, service level, safety, process controls, and process monitoring through machine controls improvements/modifications and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), Motion, Vision, and Robot systems programming.Support implementation of new equipment and line installations, including validations, and ensure optimum performance level of production equipment, machines, controllers/components, and preventive maintenance compliance with updated spare parts.Support troubleshooting of complicated issues of production machines in the line.Main requirements:
College graduate in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering, or related field.Registered, licensed, or certified engineer in any engineering field required.Master's degree in a technical or management field is an advantage.At least 10 years' experience in a manufacturing facility with direct responsibility for Automated Equipment, Controls Programming, Production Equipment Maintenance, and Preventive Maintenance.Must be highly experienced and have advanced knowledge in Pneumatics Technology, Sensor Technology, Instrumentation, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Vision system, and Robotics.Advanced knowledge in installation, programming, commissioning, and testing of Programmable Logic Controller, Motion Controller (Drives, Stepper, Servo), Vision System, Robot, and Instrumentation components or equipment is an advantage.Must have experience in electro-mechanical design and controls.Knowledge in both theoretical and practical aspects of Project Management.Knowledge in both theoretical and practical aspects of Continuous Improvement.Knowledge in Total Preventive Maintenance.Knowledge in Maintenance SAP.
