Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities:
- Building and maintaining long-term relations with customers
- Addressing any customer queries and guiding them with their purchasing decisions
- Coaching and guiding of Junior O & M Sales and Marketing Officers
- Maintaining an accurate and detailed record of all O & M accounts both existing and prospective
- Maintain O & M monitoring database including contract expiry
- Monitor and convert Design and Build projects undergoing commissioning into O & M contracts
- Preparing and maintaining regular sales reports including but not limited to project pipelines and forecast
- Meeting assigned sales targets for O & M
- Collaborating with the Marketing department to develop various promotional activities
- Participation in Exhibits, Product presentations and Road shows
- Researching current market trends and making a note of customer requirements
- Reviewing competitor product offerings
- Making cold calls to attract potential customers
- Convert non MPWS design and build plants to O & M contracts
- Customizing O & M proposals to fit client requirements
- Implementing the prescribed sales strategies to close O & M accounts
- Develop specific sales and marketing strategies relevant to his accounts
- Referring customer requests and complaints to the relevant departments
- Close coordination with internal stakeholders re; Project status and customer needs
- Conduct regular touch base meetings with clients together with process O & M Job Qualifications:
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Sales Officer, Sales Lead, Senior Sales Representative or a similar position in the Sales department
- Complete knowledge of various sales techniques and developments in the sales industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good time management and organizational skills and highly motivated and detail-oriented individual
- Strong leadership skills
