Electro-Technician

Responsible for the installation, maintain, repair and troubleshooting of electrical wiring, electronic parts, equipment and fixtures in particular with various heavy equipment controls and its accessories.Conduct preventive maintenance program, and periodic inventory of tools spare parts.Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.Coordinate with the Chief Mechanic and/or Equipment Admin In-Charge for the spare parts, tools, etc. needed. Initiate job request and parts request formAssist with the Equipment Group for the transfer of various Heavy Equipment and its accessories to the other sites if needed.Perform other duties related as required or assigned by the management.
