Job DescriptionAs a Data Collection Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in streamlining our client's financial operations, focusing on their innovative RAMP credit card system. This position sits at the intersection of renewable energy and financial management, offering a unique blend of industry exposure and data-driven decision making. You'll be responsible for ensuring smooth financial transactions for field technicians, maintaining accurate records, and optimizing the link between credit card usage and the company's ERP system. This role provides an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in financial data management while contributing to the growth of clean energy infrastructure. Responsibilities Manage and optimize the RAMP credit card transaction system, ensuring smooth operations for field technicians Enforce company policies related to credit card usage and expense reporting with attention to detail Provide preliminary coding to transactions based on specific instructions and project requirements Proactively follow up with cardholders to collect missing information, receipts, and transaction details Ensure all required fields in the RAMP system are accurately populated, maintaining data integrity Code transactions to specific job numbers or projects, contributing to precise financial tracking Conduct outreach to users via phone or email to obtain necessary transaction descriptions and details Assist in maintaining the critical link between the RAMP system and the Oracle NetSuite ERP platform Contribute to process improvements and participate in team meetings to enhance overall system efficiency Requirements Sharp attention to detail and strong data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with team members and cardholders Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment Basic understanding of financial transactions and coding principles, with a willingness to learn industry-specific practices Proficiency in using computer systems and eagerness to master new software applications Customer-oriented mindset with a professional phone manner for user support and information gathering Ability to work U.S. business hours (Central Time Zone) to align with the core team and field technicians Discretion in handling confidential financial information and maintaining data security Interest in renewable energy and sustainability practices is a plus Adaptability and openness to learning about wind and solar energy operations
