Job Description
Job Summary

Supports the contract lifecycle of identified IT requirements, which include activities such as, but not limited to request for information and support the business units on supplier accreditation process. Contract specialists work closely with the Business Units, Legal, budget coordinators and other stakeholders that may be involved in finalizing and executing the contract.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Manage the contract portfolio assigned, ensuring that all contracts are active and valid. Highlights all upcoming contracts that are up for renewal.Initiate contracting activities for expiring contracts where a renewal with the incumbent is not possible.Ensure that all vendors invited to the sourcing events are accredited by the bank.If there is no accredited vendor available, inform the BU to initiate the accreditation process.Provide support when necessary.
Qualifications

Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of experience as Contract Specialist. (Non-negotiable)Must have experience in IT . (Non-negotiable)Must have experience in Project Management. (Non-negotiable)Must have experience in Vendor Management. (Non-negotiable)Must be knowledgeable in Project Management tools and techniques. (Non-negotiable)Must be knowledgeable in Contract Lifecycle.(Non-negotiable)Must be knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office Tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint). (Non-negotiable)Excellent computer skills.(Non-negotiable)Good prioritization skills, to balance key priorities. (Non-negotiable)Good communication skills. (Non-negotiable)Good at multitasking.Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.A highly organized person.
