The Content Marketing Manager will lead a multi-team link building program responsible for creating engaging content that attracts backlinks from credible sites and partners across several education verticals and campaigns. You and your teams will plan campaigns, develop compelling linkable content, market that content to external sites, and track success through metrics like high-quality links earned. You will also help grow our small link building group into a large, multi-team structure that effectively delivers results for all parts of the organization.
As this role develops, you will oversee multiple teams that are each responsible for a different audience or campaign type.
This is a full-time contractor position. You will be expected to work during 's Pacific Time business hours Monday - Friday. Additionally, you will use your own computer and have reliable access to high-speed internet.
What You'll Do: Collaborate with stakeholders and company leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy Grow a link building organization skilled in content research, development, outreach, and earning high quality links. Manage overall link building team, including team leads and specialists among your direct reports Conduct hands-on content development and link building while building and leading a team Oversee marketing content creation, platform management, and performance metrics Stay ahead of trends in content marketing, innovating regularly to leverage link building tactics before they become stale or ineffective Identify interesting topics, perform competitor analysis, monitor trends, and analyze audience interests Collaborate with PR to effectively pitch content to media sources and leverage partnerships for co-created content Delve into data and insights to find unique perspectives and angles for campaigns Champion AI-supported processes and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of link building Measure effectiveness of campaigns and teams and strive for continuous improvements in metrics and performance What You'll Bring To The Role: Minimum 5+ years leading link building or content marketing operations 3+ years managing team members Experience creating content for link building and marketing channel utilization Knowledge in SEO and end-to-end link building Strong collaboration, leadership, and research skills Excellent written and verbal English language skills Prior work experience in a remote setting Familiarity with US education system and topics that interest media Ability to build strong expertise on relevant topics and media trends Why You'll Love Working For Us: Compensation: monthly payments of Reliable Payments: Timely, reliable payments twice a month via PayPal.
