The project: An integrated mountain resort project in Pampanga, Philippines. Located between Angeles city and New Clark city. Phase 1 works include development of an 18-hole championship golf course, banyan tree main building and resort villas, club house, and ancillary site wide infrastructure and facilities.

Provides technical support to the project construction team principally relating to the primary & secondary control, dimensional verification and quality control/quality assurance activities relating to structural trades and could also extend to trades that interface with the structure, or equally across the project.
Ensures scope of works are quality controlled ensuring quality controls are implemented and communicated. Ensures Mace validation checks are carried out in conjunction with trade contractor's specific checks and implement the Mace temporary works procedure and safety procedures.
You'll be responsible for: Provides engineering support and expertise to the site engineers. Manages project wide dimensional control for main contractor and trade contractor works. Interprets as-built surveys/installations are checked prior to construction of follow-on activities. Acts as a TWS and Deputy TWC (dependent on individual competency) as stipulated in Mace TW procedure. Reviews design information and liaise with designers or trade contractors to resolve queries. Manages trade contractors to ensure that ITPs are complied with, and verification records are in place. Carries out defined inspections to allow Mace verification of the works. Develops effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Seeks opportunities for continuous improvements/improving working processes.
Responsibility for site engineers activities.  Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. You'll also have: Experience of delivering engineering activities across a range of projects of with a clear demonstration of independent thought and initiative.  Degree qualified in civil or structural engineering (or equivalent). Professionally qualified with the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers or similar professional body. CPCS appointed person for lifting operations (Trained operator). Experience of delivering engineering activities across a range of projects. Experienced in the management of Temporary Works and able to carry out TWS role. Able to recognize construction methods. Able to evaluate alternative solutions. Review the effectiveness of materials, plant and methods being used on site. Utilize 3D modelling to demonstrate methods, clarify issues and resolve method related problems. Temporary works and HSE. Able to deliver project specific training to both Mace project team and trade contractors to ensure a common understanding of the Mace temporary works procedure. Dimensional control. Check dimensional design data and raise RFI's/technical queries. Ensure competence of those carrying out dimensional control tasks. Quality management. Ensure that quality samples/benchmarks are in place & approved, and that these are met on site. Knowledge/experience in the use of quality management tools (for example BIM 360 Field, Field View, etc.). Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
