The Account Manager plays a fundamental role in recognizing and leveraging novel business prospects for the organization. This encompasses cultivating and upholding robust connections with essential clients and collaborators, collaborating closely with multifunctional teams to execute potent business growth tactics. Proficiency in attaining or exceeding sales and revenue objectives is essential, concurrently amplifying the company's foothold within the market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development strategies
Prepared and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
Achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets
Maintain, expand and re-engage with the current database of prospects to generate qualified leads.
Exhibit the organizational skills to efficiently manage an individual pipeline of prospects to the point where a meeting is scheduled.
Use online resources to map out organizations and determine potential initial points of contact.
Identifying opportunities, developing and implementing Account Action plans.
Developing client marketing concepts that will increase the Company Interactive's Exposure.
Effectively maintaining records of sales contacts, sales activities and client interactions.
Initiate marketing strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market.
Monitor industry trends and market conditions
Study competitors products and services.
Clarify goals and reach agreement maintaining the interests of all parties.
Proactively develops and improve products and services.
Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues to Management and Clients.
Understands clients' needs.
Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients.
Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually.
Manage the proposal development process and maintain the timelines.
Develop draft proposals based on team meetings and discussions.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
Bachelor's/College Degree in Marketing, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A higher qualification or a Master's degree would be an added advantage.
A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the relevant field is required. This should include roles in sales, business development, project management, or other relevant fields within the engineering, construction, or technical services industry.
Related experience in the Engineering and/or Construction Industry. Candidates with a proven track record in managing complex sales, business development, or project coordination in these sectors
Preferably candidates with Assistant Manager or Managerial experience specializing in Sales – Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent roles. The candidate should be adept in leading teams, developing strategic business plans, and achieving sales targets
Experience with international clients is an advantage, particularly those familiar with managing cross-cultural communication, understanding diverse client needs, and developing relationships with global stakeholders.
Proficient in both written and verbal professional communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
