We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team and support a diverse range of building, road, and airport projects. This role involves creating detailed design plans and assisting with various civil engineering activities, ensuring that all work aligns with industry standards and project requirements. The position also requires some travel to project sites, allowing for hands-on involvement and collaboration with our teams.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct independent work requiring sound judgment in evaluating, selecting, and applying engineering techniques specific to building, road, and airport projects.
• Develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges, preparing or modifying drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Design and oversee new construction, renovations, and improvement projects for buildings, roads, and airport facilities.
• Adapt traditional methods in creating design calculations, layouts, and specifications to meet project objectives and standards.
• Provide civil design services, including preparation of civil/site work drawings and structural evaluations relevant to infrastructure projects.
• Follow and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for design reviews and project mobilization as required.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
• Perform construction management duties, including reviewing construction documents and conducting daily inspections on site.
• Travel to project sites as needed to monitor progress and engage with teams.
• Accept additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and project objectives.
Qualifications:
• A valid Civil Engineer license.
• A minimum of 7 years of design experience, with expertise in preparing civil/site work drawings and evaluations for building, road, and airport projects.
• Proficiency in preparing and editing schematic-level floor plans.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A valid Driver's License.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed; the main office is located in Olongapo City.
