**Job Description:**

Great Deals E-commerce Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chat Support Officer to join our customer support team. In this part-time role, you will be vital in ensuring that our customers have a seamless and positive experience while interacting with our brand online. You will serve as the first point of contact for our customers, addressing their inquiries, offering solutions, and providing a positive chat experience that aligns with our company values.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Customer Interaction:**
- Respond to customer inquiries via chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by actively listening to customer concerns and providing appropriate solutions or information.

2. **Problem Solving:**
- Identify and troubleshoot issues customers may face, offering precise information and solutions.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate team members for further assistance.

3. **Product Knowledge:**
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about our products, promotions, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Assist customers in making purchasing decisions by understanding their needs and presenting relevant products or offers.

4. **Team Collaboration:**
- Work cooperatively with other team members to share knowledge, support one another, and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

5. **Documentation:**
- Accurately record customer interactions and feedback within the company's CRM system to help identify trends, areas for improvement, and customer preferences.
- Provide qualitative insights to management regarding customer experiences and suggested areas for enhancement.

6. **Performance Metrics:**
- Meet or exceed individual performance metrics such as response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Contribute to the overall goals of the customer support team by actively engaging in productivity improvement initiatives.

**Requirements:**

- **Education and Experience:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications are a plus.
- 1 year of experience in customer support, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.

- **Technical Skills:**
- Familiarity with messaging platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation.

- **Personality Traits:**
- Hardworking and willing to go the extra mile to assist customers.
- Energetic approach to work that reflects positivity and enthusiasm.

- **Soft Skills:**
- Excellent teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with different departments.
- Strong persuasion skills to encourage customers to finalize their purchases.
