BUSINESS DIRECTOR
 
Job Summary:
 
This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer. It is responsible for providing strategic leadership, management and vision to ensure that proper operational controls, as well as administrative and reporting procedures are in place to support the corporate goals of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepares enterprise strategies, communicates these strategies to the Executive Committee and cascades approved strategies to business units
Identifies strategic leads to generate new business and opportunities for expansion
Prepares budgets and ensures implementation of approved business plans according to budgets and plans.
Analyzes financial results, recommends interventions and execute approved action plans
Ensures company policies and procedures are implemented
Ensures appropriate implementation of the policies on talent attraction, engagement, development and retention.
Reports and shares information with the Executive Committee to ensure on the condition of the organization in relation to the industry and the important factors influencing the Business Enterprise.
Ensures highly productive relationships and partnerships for the
benefit of the organization.Sets goal, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that organizational objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs, vision and mission of the organization.
Coordinates with the Chief Finance Officer or its representative, the Chief Operating Officer and other members of the Executive Committee on its operational, recovery or strategic plan in achieving its enterprise? goal
Works alongside industry stakeholders, i.e., community leaders, executive directors, investors, government officials, and senior staff/board members in ways that would best serve the Group or its enterprise
Participates in and nurtures broad networks of alliances with others to share and exchange knowledge and information about learning and change in support of change initiatives.
Qualification:
10 - 15 years of managerial leadership experience in Executive Level or Capacity
Preferably with Graduate Degree but not required
Preferably with experience in car or heavy equipment dealership and/or automotive industry gained from multi-national companies
Strong in business acumen, negotiation, and management of vision and mission skills
