Identify opportunities for business growth and create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue goals
**Responsibilities**:
1.
Assist the Business Development team by providing technical and commercial information to the team
2.
Assess industry players / competitors by analyzing and summarizing information and trends;
3.
Leading the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunities
4.
Working with executives to implement business strategies
5.
Encouraging new and existing clients by creating and improving proposals
6.
Analyzing current and past financial data and providing strategies to cut costs and increase revenue
7.
Tracking expenses and maintaining the company budget, identify variances and the causes, and make logical recommendations to improve
8.
Providing training and mentoring to other members of the team
9.
Developing and pitching ideas for department head and even to the Board
10.
Cultivate strong relationships with new clients while maintaining existing client relationships
11.
Work with colleagues across departments to implement growth strategies, including understanding the basic work of each department from Finance, Compliance, Legal and Organizational aspect of the business being developed
12.
Assist in drafting presentations and reference material related to new business
13.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
14.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff and clients
15.
Has the initiative to update one's job knowledge thru resourcefulness, studying, participating in educational opportunities,
Required skills and qualifications:
a. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering
b.
Prior engineering experience is preferred, but not required.
c. Ability to understand and communicate technical and commercial concepts
d. A proactive problem-solver with a high-quality work ethic who asks questions, makes recommendations, and takes responsibility for his/her performance.
e. At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
f. Proficient in MS Office and Google apps
g. Detail oriented, resourceful and flexible
h. Strong organizational skills
