Job Summary:
As a Business Development Manager at Funtomato, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our recruitment services. You will identify and acquire new clients, build and maintain strong client relationships, and work closely with the recruitment team to deliver high-quality talent solutions. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, market research, client management, and sales expertise to position the company as a leader in recruitment and HR consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Identify potential clients in target industries and initiate contact to present recruitment services.
Develop and implement business development strategies to attract new clients.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to understand their recruitment needs and ensure repeat business.
Act as the primary point of contact for client communications, negotiations, and service feedback.
Sales Strategy & Pipeline Development:
Develop and manage a sales pipeline to track client prospects, leads, and successful conversions.
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs by converting leads into signed contracts and partnerships.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and analyze competitor activities.
Proposal Development & Negotiation:
Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals tailored to client needs.
Negotiate terms of service, fees, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with contract and agreement standards.
Collaboration with Recruitment Teams:
Work closely with internal recruitment teams to ensure client requirements are understood and met.
Provide input on recruitment strategies to align them with client goals and industry trends.
Monitor the quality of service delivery and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
Market Awareness & Networking:
Attend industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to promote the agency's services.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, challenges, and regulatory changes affecting recruitment.
Build partnerships with industry associations and relevant networks to increase brand visibility.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development efforts.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, client acquisition, and market trends to senior management.
Identify areas for improvement in sales strategies and client engagement.

Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably within the recruitment or staffing industry.
Skills:
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a service-based industry.
Strong understanding of recruitment processes and the challenges within various industries.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of new clients acquired per quarter.
Revenue generated from new and existing clients.
Client retention rate and client satisfaction levels.
Volume and quality of business leads converted into signed contracts.
