WHAT IS A BROKER ASSISTANT
Our awesome client, a leading mortgage brokers company based in Australia is looking for a Broker Assistant to be part of their team.
This is a permanent role to join a high performing, supportive and close-knit team.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
**Reporting to the director, responsibilities include**:
Complete fact-find with client where required
Perform pricing requests, serviceability calculations, funds to complete calculations, stamp duty calculations,LMI calculations
Order valuations and follow up to get valuation report
Prepare the Proposed Loan Structure for clients and for the lenders
Prepare loan mortgage documents & signing with clients
Ensure settlement is completed on time per the client's contractual obligation
Post settlement client management
Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, accountants, valuers, builders, and other appropriate third parties
Maintaining and developing relationships in a professional manner with all stakeholders
Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and productivity
Deliver the highest level of client service
Ensure all business processes and procedures are undertaken in accordance with policies
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Previous experience in a mortgage broker administration position managing end-to-end loan processing for 2+ years is desirable
Home loans - OFI Refinances
Internal refinance (top up/increase/cash out)
Variations - Security swap
Land & construction with progress claim management
SMSF - Asset & equipment finance
High attention to detail & accuracy of data input
Strong inter-personal skills with proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with stakeholders
Strong numeracy skills
A professional can-do approach and be presentable at all times
