Responsibilities

> Responsible for bookkeeping procedures and general administrative/ad hoc tasks
> Record entries into Quickbooks for all funds, reconciling to cash on a weekly/monthly basis.
> Prepare schedules and adjusting entries for prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, loans receivable and loans payable.
> Reconcile assets and income to loan servicer records.
> Accounts Payable Cycle:
> Process invoices & expense repotrs
> Liaise with vendors
> Review monthly borrower billing statements
> Assist with tax filings, quarterly debt compliance reports, and ad hoc requests (SEC compliance-related requests, renewing CA lender license)
> Other ad hoc request to maintain data accuracy/integrity

Requirements

> Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience
> Experience in Private Equity/Hedge Funds or Real Estate a plus
> Knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controls
> Proficient with QuickBooks and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
> Detail-oriented
> Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
> Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while adhering to deadlines
> Strong work ethic and team player attitude
> Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required
> Must be amenable to work On Site in Ortigas Pasig or Cubao
> No schedule preference
