Bookkeeper/Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
-Record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
-Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
-Prepare and submit financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
-Manage accounts payable and receivable.
-Process payroll and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
-Oversee compliance with EFPS BIR system and tax regulations.
-Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
-Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
-Provide support for internal and external audits.
-Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
-Communicate financial matters to clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
-Stay updated on tax law and regulation changes.
-Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications Required:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant, preferably in realty or leasing.
-Proficiency in EFPS BIR system.
-Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred:
Bachelor of Accountancy degree.
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
Experience with preparing and submitting BIR forms using EFPS.
