Company: A leading Japanese electrical equipment company.Position: Assistant Sales Manager - Inverter and InstrumentsOffice location: Makati City, Metro Manila Job Summary:The Assistant Sales Manager will handle the distributor sales channels and keep constant volume of orders monthly. This position requires to develop the new business partners and new market, especially in HVAC business field. The Assistant Sales Manager will oversee and lead the activities of the Sales Department together with the Sales Manager. He/she will be responsible for developing and executing sales targets, and ensuring the team's overall success.Supervisory Responsibilities:Trains Sales and Senior Sales Engineers.Collaborate with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and support throughout the Sales Process.Assist the Sales Manager by participating in negotiations, and ensuring feasibility of proposed solutions.Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans aligned with company goals and objectives. Drive the Department's revenue growth by leading and grow business development.Duties/Responsibilities:Achieve the KPI (Division sales budget, target strategy). Create new sales leads in the market, build channel base, deal with dealers, distributors and other channel partners, build relationship with OEM, consultants and contractors etc.Develop and implement sales strategies/plans to achieve the Company's target growth, sales and profit margin.Prepare monthly sales report including the forecast for Management review.Conduct competitor's analysis vis-à-vis business in the territory. Be actively involved in commercial and technical discussion with customers, gather customers' requirements, coordinate with factory on customers' needs and submit solution proposal/s to prospects to maximize sales opportunitiesBe responsible for end-to-end customer management and ensure the timely collection of receivables. Draft or assist with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers.Provide expertise and support to sales team to communicate products, services and client needs.Be actively involved in commercial and technical discussion with customers with the support of partners. Gather customers' requirements and coordinate with factory on customer's needs. Conducts solution proposal to prospects and maximize sales opportunities.Stay updated on competitors' offerings and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations for staying competitive. Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Knowledge and ExperiencePossess strong technical knowledge of Inverters and Instruments, (e.g., Servo, PLC, HMI, Transmitter, Flowmeter, Gas Analyzer, etc.).Proven sales track record in Drives and Automation business environment.Strong background in distributors Business for inverters and Instruments.Candidates with multi-national company experience is an advantage. Candidates with site work experience (e.g., Electrical work, testing, and commissioning, project management, etc.) are preferred. Have good contact & network of prospective customers/distributors/consultants/contractors in the Philippines.Proven experience in senior sales, leadership roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
