ANALYST, CONTROLLING
Responsibilities:
Generate and prepare monthly/daily reports, verify the suppliers' credit standing and quality monitoring of Purchase Requisitions (BANFen).
Creation and approval of Purchase Requisitions (BANF) from the requests of the purchasing departments of One-Time Payment Suppliers.
Calculation for the costing of materials used in production for the plants.
Creation of shipping instructions of materials from Plant Unterturkheim FMC/PU.
Creation of Service Agreement or Request for Change for the service of the different IT related systems within the Mercedes-Benz Group and for the services provided by Global Training worldwide to internal and external customers.
Review of the monthly AMG/MBA invoices in form of licenses fee paid by DAG.
Preparation of reports for Material Cost Planning - China.
Filling out of Proportional Production Costs (PPC) values in the files provided per Baureihe.
Input of the Financial values (Volumes, Options, Discounts, Other Revenue and Direct Material) in IMPACT (Integrated MPC Planning and Controlling Tool) for MB Vans during Monthly Reporting and Planning Period.
Other operational tasks as maybe assigned.
Identify and communicate to responsible parties the necessary process updates.
Participate in process documentation and participate in knowledge exchange according to set standards.
Responsible for revisions of DTPs and PFCs
Responsible in the daily operational steering as well as process query within the assigned core
teamKPI reports and other standard reports
Contact partner and responsible for day to day problem solving and escalation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in Accounting, Controlling, or related field
Good knowledge and experience in controlling, finance and accounting processes and their IT co-relation in SAP, other systems and interfaces
Knowledge in the entire controlling and accounting process and the interdependencies with other accounting processes
English:
Speaks and writes business language fluently
With German language skills (Bl Certified)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, etc)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Self-motivated and self-directed
Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations
Ability to meet customer demands in conformity with the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Demonstrates ability to work productively and maintain effective relationship in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
Prepared to assume challenges efficiently, and focused on fulfilling objectives
Ability to work under pressure
Proactive nature and flexibility to possible changes or new tasks and responsibilities
Attention to detail
At least 1 Year Relevant Industry Experience
Experience in Controlling is a plus
Experience in Customer service activities.
Experience in Accounting/Finance Shared Service industry is an advantage
