Key Responsibilities:
- Verify requests for check payments related to supplier purchases and other financial obligations.
- Review and issue check vouchers based on approved payment requests and statements from service providers.
- Assist in costing items for sale and repair services.
- Monitor and report on Accounts Receivable-Trade, preparing bi-monthly aging reports.
- Facilitate the weekly collection of receivables and coordinate with the Operations Department.
- Maintain an up-to-date three-way monitoring ledger of sales and purchases.
- Track job orders, billing, and collection for items received for repair.
- Prepare collection letters for overdue accounts in collaboration with the Operations Department.
- Ensure compliance with BIR requirements for deductions from customer payments.
- Maintain accurate records of monthly sales, cost of sales, and adjust entries in the E-Atlantica Accounting System.
- Collaborate with AOBM for timely bookkeeping and prepare Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure proper filing of accounting records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the AVP-Finance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years experience in accounting roles.
- Proficient in accounting software (E-Atlantica experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of BIR regulations and compliance requirements.
