Accounting Manager

I. JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining the records associated with the incoming and outgoing finances of the company.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.ACCOUNTING METHODS AND POLICIES Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.AUDIT AND COMPLIANCE Coordinate and complete annual audits.Meet financial accounting objectives.WORKFORCE PLANNING Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.RECORDS MANAGEMENT Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.MONTHLY REPORTORIALS Prepare periodic reports required by government in a timely and organized manner.Prepare month-end and year-end processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc.Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.QUALIFICATIONS BS Accountancy or Any Related CourseCertified Public AccountantAt least 3 years of experience in the same capacityKnowledge of fundamental accounting principles and practices regarding accounts payable and general accounting.Knowledge of finance principlesKnowledge of local, state, and federal laws regarding accounting, finances, and taxationProficiency in relevant accounting softwareExperience with SAP SoftwareAbility to provide high-quality accounting reports: monthly, quarterly, semester, and yearly.Ability to meet deadlines.
