Accounting Head / Manager

Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, manage a team of accountants, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role involves coordinating financial activities, maintaining accounting records, and supporting budget and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Coordinate and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank statements.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Support internal and external audits, preparing required documentation and addressing findings.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
