Accounting Head

Job Description: Accounting HeadWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Head to manage our company's accounting and reporting functions. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field, proven experience as an Accounting Head, and the ability to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Responsibilities: Ensures timely and accurate preparation of quarterly financial statements, e.g., Trial Balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet.Ensures timely and accurate preparation of Accounting Reports, e.g., Quarterly Income Tax Return, Monthly & Quarterly VAT returns.Manages the Accounting Department and ensures compliance with financial procedures.Responsible for the development of policies, systems, and improvements in accounting controls.Reviews/approves journal entries and maintains books of accounts.Qualifications: Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any related course.At least 5 years of experience in the same capacity.Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).Excellent understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Knowledgeable in Financial Statement preparation and processing of business permits and licenses.Familiar with Quickbooks software and payroll.Willing to start immediately.Our company is urgently looking to fill the position of Accounting Head.
