About the job Accounting Associate (Loans & Treasury Accounting) The position ensures the Banks compliance to the following areas:
Accounting and regulatory financial reporting standards for Consumer Lending transactions. Banks Policies & Procedures Manual (PPM), Inter-office memoranda (IOM) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Moreover, the position ensures risks in the ff. areas are mitigated:
Unreliable and misstated booking of Consumer Lending transactions. Unreliable and misstated financial reports. Untimely reconciliation of temporary accounts, release to business and operations counterparts and escalation for disposition of aging float items. Audit findings due to non-compliance with accounting standards, regulatory policies & guidelines, PPMs/IOMs and SLAs Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. Preferably with at least 2 years Accounting or Compliance or Audit experience With at least 1 year of experience in accounting gained in the banking industry.
