Accounting Assistant

Job Description: Pays Principals/vendors ; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation;Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks.Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or pricesDisburses petty cash by recording entry; verifying documentation.Reconcile Accounts Payable transactionsMaintains historical records. Qualifications: Female –graduate of any Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or any related college course or have completed at least three years of collegeProven work experience in Accounts Payable related position is an advantage.Minimum average scholastic grades.Proficiency in computer work (MS Word, MS Excel).Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detailAdept at file management (both digitally and manually)Able to effectively time-manage and prioritize tasksHonest.
