Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for an Accountant who can work with us full-time and on-site!
Where??? JEG Tower, Archbishop Reyes, Corner Acacia St., Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City, Cebu As an Accountant for one of our partners, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial data to support their business operations. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end reporting and forecasting. You'll play a critical part in maintaining 100% compliance while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Some of the things we expect you to do are to: Accounts Receivable: Process data entry and customer invoices. Handle electronic and cheque payments. Address account inquiries from clients. Report and analyze outstanding debtors, managing collections at the first level. Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices promptly and accurately. Prepare payment files weekly or as required. Reconcile accounts for CityLink, fuel, and telecommunications. Conduct monthly supplier reconciliations. Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile all bank accounts and process credit card payments. Support for the Finance Manager: Assist with month-end reporting and meeting deadlines. Contribute to cash flow reporting and forecasting. Provide general support as needed. We would need you to be or have the following: Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or related fields. At least 3 years experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized business. Proficiency in Xero is essential. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. High attention to detail and adherence to procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Results-oriented with the ability to adapt methods to achieve objectives. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
