Manage the company's accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including monitoring due dates and ensuring timely payments. Monitor and review financial transactions, expenses, and revenues to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks of multiple accounts Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and resolve any discrepancies. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies. Stay updated with accounting principles, standards, and industry trends to ensure adherence to best practices. Ad hoc tasks from the client. Requirements & Qualifications: CPA - Not required but is a Plus! Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor or similar certification is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in bookkeeping and general accounting tasks. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online (and other accounting software) and MS Excel. Proficiency in Square and Stripe platforms. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive and able to work independently, as well as part of a team, to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
