Duties and Responsibilities: Contribute to the timely and effective delivery of services to assigned clients, including Accounts Payable, financial budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management. Participate in client onboarding, collaborating with the sales team to provide a comprehensive view of the client's business. Ensure excellence in servicing clients, profitability, and satisfaction with deliverables. Assist in managing financial controls, systems, and associated procedures, including bank reconciliations, debtor & credit reconciliation, general ledger management, and payroll analysis. Contribute to monthly/quarterly financial reviews with clients and act as a trusted advisor on their financial performance. Support the monitoring and management of financial key performance indicators and key business drivers for assigned clients. Assist in the day-to-day management of bookkeeping and accounting practices, providing feedback for operational excellence. Contribute to the development and improvement of procedures, operational policies, security protocols, and best practices for clients and WPS. Identify opportunities to increase revenue by building lasting client relationships and presenting business growth opportunities. Uphold statutory accounting acts, regulations, and statutes. Promote and model the value of self-improvement and actively seek opportunities for personal and professional growth. Financial Management and Reporting: KRA: Timely and accurate completion of financial budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for assigned clients. Specific: Achieve 100% accuracy in financial budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management. Measurable: Complete financial reports for all assigned clients within the set deadlines. Achievable: Attend regular training sessions to stay updated on the latest financial management tools and techniques. Relevant: Ensure that financial reports comply with relevant statutory accounting acts and regulations. Time-bound: Implement process improvements to reduce the time required for financial reporting by 15% within the next quarter. Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency: KRA: Identification and implementation of process improvements that lead to increased efficiency and effectiveness in financial processes. Specific: Identify and implement three process improvements in financial processes within the next six months. Measurable: Achieve a 20% increase in efficiency in the financial processes targeted for improvement. Achievable: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights for efficient process enhancements. Relevant: Ensure that the implemented improvements align with the overall business goals. Time-bound: Present a comprehensive report on implemented process improvements and efficiency gains at the monthly team meeting. Compliance and Statutory Regulations: KRA: Adherence to all relevant statutory accounting acts, regulations, and statutes. Specific: Conduct quarterly audits to ensure 100% compliance with statutory Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in accounting required. At least 2 years of accounting experience is required. Familiarity with Xero Accounting Software. Ability to analyze, interpret, reconcile, and communicate financial information and management reports. Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft products, including Excel, Outlook, Advantageous: Experience in Australian Accounting is highly preferred. Understanding of Australian statutory accounting policies and procedures. CPA or CA Professional is nice to have but not a requirement AU BAS experience is desirable but no required Familiarity with using Dext, XPM, and Xbert.
