Yard Technician

Icon Equipment Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated Yard Technician to join our Supply Chain Management team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and readiness of our heavy equipment fleet.
Job Summary:

As a Yard Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment, maintaining proper documentation, and adhering to safety standards.
Your expertise and commitment to excellence will play a critical role in supporting our operations.
Main Functions:
Inspect machines/units thoroughly to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Execute repairs to restore equipment functionality.
Complete required documentation, including Service Reports, Machine Health Checks, and Pre/Post-Delivery Inspection Checklists.
Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment and maintain accurate PM logs.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines during repair and maintenance activities.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and team members regarding equipment status and maintenance schedules.
Assist with loading, unloading, and unchaining equipment as needed.
Operate forklifts safely and maintain proper yard organization.
Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met within the yard.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Fleet Supervisor within the scope of work.
Key Requirements:
At least 1 year of working experience as aYard Technician.
With heavy equipment is an advantage.
At least 1 year Vocational Course or Highschool Graduate
Can start as soon as possible
