Coordinate and action all client rostering requests in close consultation with the Client Coordinator, to ensure clients are matched with an appropriate Carer
Assist Carers with access and use of the electronic rostering system
Confirm bookings with Carers and other stakeholders
Act as the first point of call for any Carer related incidents, complaints or feedback
Maintain a log of communications made with Carers and relevant stakeholders, including updating shift details into the relevant electronic systems
Receive, respond to and action any Carer enquiries (including, but not limited to payroll enquiries) ensuring suitable outcomes are provided
Build strong and positive relationships with Carers, including maintain regular and proactive contact with Carers to check on their wellbeing and general engagement
Regularly inform Carers of opportunities to work across other services, to increase their engagement and utilisation
Ensure that Carers are appropriately, consistently and accurately logging in/out of their shifts using the appropriate mechanism, including following up when this does not occur
Reconcile Carer timesheets to ensure they are accurate prior to being processed through payroll
Receive and respond to any phone calls received through the call centre
**Requirements**:
Previous experience in a related role
Previous experience working in the Disability and/or Aged Care sectors
Working knowledge in understanding and interpreting Modern Awards
Working knowledge of rostering systems
Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed and results-oriented environment
Ability to problem solve and work effectively in a very fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities
Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook proficient
Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is preferred
