We are looking for a driven General Accounting and Financial Analyst with an understanding of financial principles and terms to join our team. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and thrives in a FAST-PACED environment.
As a General Accounting and Financial Analyst, you will carry out tasks that may include preparation of Financial Statements & Reports, assess current financial reports, and come up with financial reports that include key metrics, financial risk, and financial results.

Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Forecasting
- Assist in the development of financial plans, and budgets.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Provide support for the forecasting process
Financial Analysis
- Analyze and interpret financial data, trends, and key performance indicators
- Evaluate the financial impact of various strategic initiatives.
Financial Reporting
- Generate financial reports for management
- Communicate financial results to management
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information
Cost Analysis
- Analyze cost structures and identify areas for improvement
- Provide insights on cost-reduction strategies
Accounts Payable
- Process and pay vendor invoices.
- Maintain records of all payments made.
- Reconcile accounts payable balances.
Accounts Receivable
- Follow up on overdue accounts and manage collections
Tax and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
- Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., sales tax, VAT, corporate tax).
- In charge of the preparation of financial statements and audits
Collaboration
- Work closely with various departments (e.g., accounting, sales, operations) to gather data and provide financial insights.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to explain financial concepts and findings
Ad-hoc Analysis and Reporting
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Provide financial insights and data to support decision-making.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Stable internet connection.
- Own a desktop/laptop that can work even with heavy file loads - at least 16 GB RAM
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with at least 1 year of experience in the field
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Google Suite and financial modeling
- Can work independently and with a team
- Can work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Organized and able to multitask

Compensation:
- P23,000 - P25,000 during 3-5 month probation
- P25,000 - P30,000 after probation based on performance and skill
- Basic Benefits such as SSS, PAG-IBIG and Philhealth Allowance
- 13th-month bonus and mid-year bonus depending on the profitability of the business and performance evaluation results
