Welder I

· Conduct the daily check of the equipment, tools and record the results in the appropriate forms.
· Check the Job order priority posted in the board.
· Receives instructions, prints and work orders for the job. Plans details of working procedure and tools and, material requirements.
· Good organizational skills and knowledge of equipment operation and safety of equipment such as cold saws, hand trimming drills, deburr tooling, DI wash machine etc.
· Knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, and quality control.
· Inspecting and evaluating the quality of materials.
· The ability to quickly and repeatedly make precise adjustments in moving the controls of a machine to exact positions.
· Read & interpret the shop master drawing.
· Cut the tube to the required dimension.
· Clean the cut tubes using deburring tools and hand trimming drills
· DI wash cut tubes and modified fittings
· Sign-off Job traveler after completion of the job.
· Submit daily production count to immediate supervisor.
· Update the necessary records as required.
· Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
· Report any abnormality or an issue that arises in your work place to your lead or supervisor.
· Assume responsibility and care of assigned tools and equipment.
· Observe and practice safety procedures and policies.
· Conduct 6'S before leaving the work area at the end of the shift.
· Other duties maybe assign from time to time as required.
