Job Description We are looking for a motivated individual who can support our Technical Documentation Team to create layouts in our XML-based component content management system. This system is used to create, manage and publish technical documentation such as instruction manuals or operating or assembly instructions for our clients.
The XML-based component system is used to manage multilingual and multi-variant documents across our client base and allows us to easily upload written content across many different consumer goods items, such as electrical appliances, toys, garden furniture and power tools. The technical instructions of many instruction manuals or operating manuals tends to be similar however our customers have specific style guide or brand requirements that allow the manuals to be unique for that brand of item.
We are looking for someone who can help support creating these different layouts for each document size and customer requirements so that their manuals and technical documents are aligned to their unique brand requirements for format, font size, structure and visuals.
Key Responsibilities: Create and develop different XML-based layouts using the Scheme ST4 layout designerWork and adhere to existing brand guidelines and designs as requested by the clientWork in close coordination with the team to understand and implement design specificities into the coding process.Test each code for its functionality, compatibility, debugging and run pilot projects to ensure the efficiency of the final product.Create coherent and accurate documentation for reference and reporting purposes.Collaborate with a team to meet tight deadlines and achieve project goals. Qualifications Skills & Abilities: Proven experience as an IT Developer specializing in XML based software.Proficiency in XML, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.Experience with Content Management Systems, such as Quanos ST4 is preferred.Excellent understanding of coding techniques and protocols, and ability to create efficient, reliable, and reusable codes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to work independentlySelf-motivated and responsibleImmediate availability is preferred Additional Information PERKS YOU CAN GET BY JOINING QIMA PHILIPPINES
