Who We're Looking For Desired Education Bachelor's degree is preferred. Pre-employment testing is required. You Must Have Impeccable English speaking skills (both written and verbal). Resume must be in English to be considered. Comfortability with both object-oriented and procedural programming methodologies 5+ years of javascript-based software development with 2+ years of cloud infrastructure experience 2+ years of QA experience Qualities Likes to get things done, highly efficient Professional, dependable, solid work ethic, detail-oriented, dedication to quality, self-motivated Advanced knowledge of software engineering tools and processes, automation, testing frameworks and project management applications Strong communication & collaboration skills Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Customer-centric mentality, highly empathetic to users Obsesses over details Ability to understand prioritization/urgency level What You'll Do Create/modify unit and synthetic tests accordingly Perform code and documentation reviews and provides documented feedback on code quality, performance limiters, and adherence to best practices Recognize and address poor user experience Track common technical problems Communicate with development/engineering team to address patterns Create clear development and user documentation Analyze why existing unit tests fail Assist in the creation of test strategy and plans for performance, high availability, monitoring of environment validation Capture and analyze results; reports metrics Deploy weekly launches Monitor error tracking and usage after each weekly launch Working Hours The core position hours will have 4 hours of overlap with our standard Monday through Friday - 8AM EST until 4PM EST/New York Time Zone in order to accommodate our clients' schedules, with additional options to fulfill the full work week within your time zone (Depending on the hours you select, you will receive additional pay for overlapping our hours)
Compensation Negotiable, based on experience
Working Hours Asia (Philippines / Indonesia)
This position requires a minimum 4-hour overlap from 3:30 AM EST - 12:00 PM EST (New York Time Zone) Monday - Friday.
Africa / Europe (Ghana, UK, Ireland, Kenya, etc)
This position requires overlapping hours from 6:00 AM EST - 2:30 PM EST Monday - Friday. The 40 hours of work doesn't include any lunch or breaks.
*** This excludes South Africa. South Africa has additional hours options.
North America & South America
This position requires overlapping hours from 8:00 AM EST - 4:30 PM EST Monday - Friday. The 40 hours of work doesn't include any lunch or breaks.
