### Responsibilities:
- **Customer Support:** Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries through live web chat. Ensure all interactions are handled efficiently and with a high degree of professionalism.
- **Product Knowledge:** Develop a thorough understanding of Homebase's products and services to assist customers effectively. Keep updated with new features, enhancements, and changes to provide accurate information.
- **Issue Resolution:** Identify and troubleshoot customer issues, escalating complex queries to the appropriate departments while ensuring that customers feel heard and valued.
- **Documentation:** Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, issues raised, and resolutions provided, contributing to a centralized knowledge base for future reference.
- **Feedback Collection:** Gather customer feedback during interactions to identify trends and areas for improvement, conveying insights to management for potential changes in products or processes.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure consistent communication and effective resolution of customer inquiries.
- **Performance Metrics:** Meet and strive to exceed performance goals and metrics related to response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates.

### Requirements:
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role, preferably in a web chat or online support environment.
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; further education in communication, customer service, or related fields is an advantage.

- **Dedicated:** Demonstrates commitment to providing exceptional customer support and maintaining high quality.
- **Resourceful:** Able to quickly identify solutions to customer issues using available resources and tools.
