DUTIES:
Lead and supervise a team of warehouse and logistics personnel, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure a cohesive and motivated workforce.
Manage daily operations of the warehouse, including inbound and outbound shipments, order picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, customer service, and fulfillment, to align warehouse activities with business goals and customer expectations.
Monitor inventory levels, implement demand forecasting, and develop strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
Oversee the implementation of inventory management systems and technology tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in inventory tracking and management.
Coordinate with logistics partners, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation and delivery of goods.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a secure and compliant working environment.
Perform regular audits and quality checks to ensure accurate inventory records and proper handling of products.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and logistics processes, continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse and logistics operations, analyze data, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Resolve operational issues, address customer inquiries, and manage exceptions to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
Collaborate with the management team to contribute insights and recommendations for business growth, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction.
Produce regular reports as and when required
Participates in meetings, discussions, and various activities to facilitate the accomplishment of objectives, goals, assignments and set requirements.
Report progress updates, key achievements and any concerns to the Warehouse Manager / CEO

Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or inventory control within the ecommerce or retail industry.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and order management systems is a plus.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to warehousing and logistics.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with relevant software applications.
