Warehouse Operations Manager

The Warehouse Operations Manager is in charge of the end to end performance of a Growsari warehouse. Warehouse operations involve the following: order fulfillment (pick and pack) and logistics. A warehouse serves an area covering thousands of customers and transacting tens of millions of Peso a month. The Warehouse Operations Manager handles a team of 2 Supervisors, 5 Team Leads and dozens of staff to run the warehouse as an efficient unit with industry leading performance metrics. The Warehouse Operations Manager temporarily reports to the Operations Excellence Manager.
Key responsibilities: Describe the tasks and responsibilities typically required in this role and the extent to which decisions might be made which will require interpretation/judgment. Degree of supervision over others is required in this role
Fulfillment OperationsEnsure pick and pack operations follow SOP and meet KPIs for their operations including packing accuracy, out of stock levels and volume handledEscalate out of stock and other inventory issues in a timely manner to reduce loss of businessRecommend further process improvements that can be done in the Fulfillment OperationsDispatch OperationsEnsure dispatch and delivery team follows all SOPs for dispatch, returns, collections and cancellationsEnsure timely and complete returns processing by resolving all variances between expected and actual returns amountInventory OperationsOversee the entire inventory process and ensuring accurate tracking and monitoring of reportsPeople ManagementEvaluation of all direct hiresImpose sanctions / disciplinary action for any violations committedRecommends / initiate plan of action to control or reduce attrition rateAdmin / Reportorial RequirementsSales analysis and operations analysis based on business review requirementsPrepare administrative reports such as but not limited to Billing Statements, Request for Payment, Cash Advances, and Purchase RequestsRecommends cost-cutting measures to make the hub more profitable

Have experience in warehouse operations at a managerial level in consumer goods, retail or logistics industriesIs impact-driven and want to make a positive impact to the lives of Sari Sari store owners; ultimately playing a role in bridging the income inequality gap in the PhilippinesHave a problem solver attitude - and are able to get things done and meet your deliverables while keeping the bigger picture in mindHave an analytical mind with strong attention to detailIs good with people and know how to get the best out of them - warehouse operations is tough and demanding and the leeway for errors is lowHave strong interpersonal and conflict management skillsIs willing to work extended hours if necessaryFluent in Tagalog and good working English
Qualifications, certifications and education requirements: Qualifications, certifications and/or licenses required/beneficial to perform this job. Minimum level of education required/suggested for this role
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in any field, but preferable Industrial EngineeringMust have at least 3 years of operations management experience, with 2 years managerial experienceKnowledgeable in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google Drive productsUnderstanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management
