DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of a warehouse and yard.
- Administer planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of workforce and other resources within warehouse and yard.
- Enforce business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Communicate in regular basis with other managers and other designated contacts within the organization.
- Manage preparation and maintenance of necessary reports to carry out the functions of the department.
- Prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested.
- Evaluate performance of staff as well as provide feedback.
- Coordinate, plan, schedule, and follow up all construction related concern with other department; Prepare weekly attendance and payroll for construction prior to reporting to the General Manager.
- Submit Warehouse summary report to immediate head.
- Prepare memos, instrcution for the yard security.
- Performs other duties and projects that the immediate supervisor may assign.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of any four (4) year course.
- With at least eight (3-6) years of management, leadership and work-related experience is preferred.
- With above average computer skills and knowledge.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and employee relations is an advantage.
- Preferably with experience on warehousing.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- With excellent organizational skills and keen on detail.
- With excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
