Wardrobe Associate

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain the costume inventory, including clothing, accessories, and props.

• Prepare costumes for hosts by fitting, altering, and repairing them.

• Assist in shopping for costumes and accessories.

• Clean, press, and store costumes and accessories properly to maintain their quality and appearance.

• Assist in the planning and execution of costume changes during performances or shoots.

• Help hosts with costume changes as needed.

• Keep accurate records of wardrobe inventory and expenses.

• Work with other members of the production team to ensure that costumes are consistent with the overall vision of the production.

• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed in the costume department.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of costume history and design.

• Ability to sew and alter costumes.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

• Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.

• Some experience in a wardrobe department or related field preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
